Tel Aviv

We have tickets for tomorrow evening. Amman to Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv to Atlanta, to Charlotte. All you Ws who can't wait to see us: we will give the girls a chance to settle in a bit and then we will see about a visit to the St. Louis homestead. I'd like to coordinate that with Kathleen's delivery--let me know if you'd rather not have us around until after you return from VA.

Stella and Danielle news: both girls LOVE going under the water in the swimming pool. At first we thought Danielle was being extra careless and falling down too much, and then we noticed that when her head went under the water she got this HUGE grin on her face. So we started letting her go under as much as she wanted (mom/dad assisted dunking). Makes her completely happy. Once Stella saw that, she could not be out done by the baby and decided it was her new favorite game too. She had been very resistant up until that point.

The girls are up, and that means we are off to the pool again.

Corrdinating with new baby might be a little tough as that would be in 7 days and I think it would be a little quick to travel again. But we will most likely be blessing the baby the first Sunday of September and would love to have you out for that if you can arrainge it.

That's hilarious you thought Danielle was just falling a lot. I mean, I'm glad she wasn't and it was a little more deliberate. Maybe they can peer pressure Isabella into going under when they get here.

Also, I was wondering what your thoughts are about people meeting you at the airport? I mean, do you really care who's there as long as someone picks you up? I ask because I don't know if I will be most useful going there or staying at the house and making sure everything is set up and there is food to eat, etc.

Knowing MA she will be perfectly fine if only the driver is there to pick up her, the girls and the boy ;)...

MA do you think your girls could teach my wimpy boys to do that?

come and visit whenever you guys dont feel too exhausted...we realize that it's been a rough week and while we're extremely excited to see you all, we understand if you need to recoup a bit. good luck with the flights- hope the girls can take it well.

i guess i'm just going to go to the airport to get a couple non-intrusive stella meets isabella pictures.

I think it is ok for anyone with low enough expectations to come to the airport. We will be exhausted (by the way we are safely in Tel Aviv as I write), and the girls will not be friendly or charming. So long as you won't be disapointed when Stella won't talk to you or look at you, and definately won't hug you, ok. I'm going to be happy to see people I know, and I'll give you a hug. Does that count?

Um, I don't know how to say this, but I'm not feeling like art is being imparted to me on a daily basis.

Also, Happy belated Birthday!
